The frame is divided into two sections, a main frame and a rear frame fixed to the first, with the engine supporting part of the load. The front wheel guide is the BMW Motorrad Telelever with a 37mm diameter vertical suspension tube and a central telescopic fork. The rear wheel features the BMW Motorrad Paralever single-sided cast aluminum swing arm with a WAD shock absorber, hydraulically adjustable preload (continuously variable), and rebound damping adjustable via a manual control. The front suspension travel is 210 mm, and the rear suspension travel is 220 mm.
